How we Work

Dream it

It all begins with a fabric and an idea! Chosen by the client or by us!

The colors and the fabric pattern design say more or less what it’s gonna be!

Several sketches afterwards, we’ll come to something that will wait some time till we are sure I’m going to do it as it is!

We can design a unique piece or a collection, although a collection is always a challenge due to the fabric pattern quantity constraints!

Build It

We follow the classic development process: patternmaking, prototyping, cutting, sewing, design review if necessary, sewing again, … and finally we say “et voilà”!

Our clothes are then handmade in our atelier in Lisbon using artisan sewing techniques and sometimes we also work with small ateliers that insure the high quality we wish to offer in our brand.

It’s a long process, made with love and care. We want to live in a more sustainable world, therefore we try to do our best to accomplish it. We want our clothes to last for a long time and we definitely position ourselves on the “slow fashion” team side of the world we live in.

Find it

We always choose natural fibres (besides cotton) such as linen, hemp or other to combine with the “panos”.

Our “panos” are bought in african markets and shops. When in doubt about the cotton quality we test it and only the ones we are quite sure about its purity are selected.

All the “panos” we buy are carefully washed to maintain the vivid colours and ironed before being available to our clients.

Sell It

If you want to buy an EZU piece you can choose between one of the pieces we have available in our Lisbon atelier or online via a marketplace.

Our collections are available in some “concept stores” such as “Traces Of Me” in Comporta, located near Lisbon.

We make every effort to keep our system updated, however, our online inventory is supplied through the physical store location. Things rarely sell out at the same time. In the rare case that this occurs, we will send you an email with suggested alternatives or details about special ordering the piece for you, and are always happy to refund you if neither of those options suit you.

Made-to-order is also available and in this case, we kindly ask you to contact us via mobile phone, e-mail, or visit us at our atelier.
